28 And if they will not take the cup from your hand to drink, then say to them, ‘The Lord of All says, “You must drink! 29 See, I am beginning to make trouble in this city which is called by My name. And will you not be punished? You will not be free from punishment, for I am bringing a sword against all the people of the earth,” says the Lord of All.’

30 “So you should speak all these words against them. Tell them, ‘The Lord will sound from on high. His voice will be heard from His holy place. He will call out in a loud voice against his flock. He will call out like those who crush the grapes, against all the people of the earth.

28 But if they refuse to take the cup from your hand and drink(A), tell them, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty says: You must drink it! 29 See, I am beginning to bring disaster(B) on the city that bears my Name,(C) and will you indeed go unpunished?(D) You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword(E) on all(F) who live on the earth,(G) declares the Lord Almighty.’

30 “Now prophesy all these words against them and say to them:

“‘The Lord will roar(H) from on high;
    he will thunder(I) from his holy dwelling(J)
    and roar mightily against his land.
He will shout like those who tread(K) the grapes,
    shout against all who live on the earth.

28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink.

29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the Lord of hosts.

30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, The Lord shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
