Jeremiah 29:22-24
International Standard Version
22 What happens to them will be the basis for a curse[a] for all the Judean exiles who are in Babylon. People will say,[b] “May the Lord make you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the Lord roasted[c] in the fire, 23 because they did something stupid[d] in Israel. They committed adultery with their neighbors’ wives, and in my name they spoke lies that I didn’t command them. I’m the one who knows, and I’m a witness,” declares the Lord.’”

New International Version
22 Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse: ‘May the Lord treat you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned(A) in the fire.’ 23 For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery(B) with their neighbors’ wives, and in my name they have uttered lies—which I did not authorize. I know(C) it and am a witness(D) to it,” declares the Lord.
