Jeremiah 31:13-15
Legacy Standard Bible

13 Then the virgin will be glad in the (A)dance,
And the young men and the old, together,
For I will (B)turn their mourning into joy
And will comfort them and give them (C)gladness for their sorrow.
14 I will [a]fill the soul of the priests with [b]richness,
And My people will be (D)satisfied with My goodness,” declares Yahweh.

15 Thus says Yahweh,

“(E)A voice is heard in (F)Ramah,
Wailing and bitter weeping.
Rachel is weeping for her children;
She (G)refuses to be comforted for her children
Because (H)they are no more.”

Jeremiah 31:13-15
New International Version

13 Then young women will dance and be glad,
    young men and old as well.
I will turn their mourning(A) into gladness;
    I will give them comfort(B) and joy(C) instead of sorrow.
14 I will satisfy(D) the priests(E) with abundance,
    and my people will be filled with my bounty,(F)”
declares the Lord.

15 This is what the Lord says:

“A voice is heard in Ramah,(G)
    mourning and great weeping,
Rachel weeping for her children
    and refusing to be comforted,(H)
    because they are no more.”(I)
