The Lord hath appeared unto me [a]of old, say they: [b]Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love, therefore with mercy I have drawn thee.

Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin Israel: thou shalt still [c]be adorned with thy timbrels, and shalt go forth in the dance of them that be joyful.

Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of [d]Samaria, and the planters that plant them, [e]shall make them common.
