⁴⁴ Fields will be purchased, the transaction written on a scroll and sealed,^(A) and witnesses will be called on in the land of Benjamin,^(B) in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, and in Judah’s cities—the cities of the hill country, the cities of the Judean foothills, and the cities of the Negev—because I will restore their fortunes.”^[a]

This is the Lord’s declaration.

⁷ I will restore the fortunes^[a] of Judah and of Israel and will rebuild them as in former times.^(A)

¹¹ a sound of joy and gladness, the voice of the groom and the bride,^(A) and the voice of those saying,

as they bring thanksgiving sacrifices to the temple of the Lord. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as in former times, says the Lord.

²⁵ “So this is what the Lord God says: Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob^(A) and have compassion on the whole house of Israel,^(B) and I will be jealous for my holy name.
