Jeremiah 33:5-7
Good News Translation
5 Some will fight against the Babylonians, who will fill the houses[a] with the corpses of those whom I am going to strike down in my anger and fury. I have turned away from this city because of the evil things that its people have done. 6 But I will heal this city and its people and restore them to health. I will show them abundant peace and security. 7 I will make Judah and Israel prosperous, and I will rebuild them as they were before.

5 in the fight with the Babylonians[a]: ‘They will be filled with the dead bodies of the people I will slay in my anger and wrath.(A) I will hide my face(B) from this city because of all its wickedness.
6 “‘Nevertheless, I will bring health and healing to it; I will heal(C) my people and will let them enjoy abundant peace(D) and security. 7 I will bring Judah(E) and Israel back from captivity[b](F) and will rebuild(G) them as they were before.(H)
