3 Perhaps when the people of Judah hear about every disaster I intend to bring upon them, they will turn from their evil ways, and I will forgive their wrongdoing and sins. 4 So Jeremiah sent for Baruch, Neriah’s son. As Jeremiah dictated all the words that the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them in the scroll. 5 Then Jeremiah told Baruch, “I’m confined here and can’t go to the Lord’s temple.

3 Perhaps(A) when the people of Judah hear(B) about every disaster I plan to inflict on them, they will each turn(C) from their wicked ways; then I will forgive(D) their wickedness and their sin.”
4 So Jeremiah called Baruch(E) son of Neriah,(F) and while Jeremiah dictated(G) all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.(H) 5 Then Jeremiah told Baruch, “I am restricted; I am not allowed to go to the Lord’s temple.
