Jeremiah 37:9-11
International Children’s Bible
9 “This is what the Lord says: People of Jerusalem, do not fool yourselves. Do not say to yourselves: ‘The Babylonian army will surely leave us alone.’ They will not! 10 You might defeat all of the Babylonian army that is attacking you. But there would still be a few injured men left in their tents. Even those injured men would come from their tents and burn down Jerusalem!”
11 So the Babylonian army left Jerusalem. They left to fight the army of the king of Egypt.

9 “This is what the Lord says: Do not deceive(A) yourselves, thinking, ‘The Babylonians will surely leave us.’ They will not! 10 Even if you were to defeat the entire Babylonian[a] army that is attacking you and only wounded men were left in their tents, they would come out and burn(B) this city down.”
11 After the Babylonian army had withdrawn(C) from Jerusalem because of Pharaoh’s army,
