10 I said, “Oh no, Lord God, you have certainly deceived(A) this people and Jerusalem, by announcing, ‘You will have peace,’(B) while a sword is at[a] our throats.”

11 “At that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem, ‘A searing wind(C) blows from the barren heights in the wilderness on the way to my dear[b] people. It comes not to winnow or to sift; 12 a wind too strong for this comes at my call.[c] Now I will also pronounce judgments against them.’”(D)

11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.
