2 Jeremiah the prophet and said, “May our petition come before you;(A) pray to the Lord your God on our behalf,(B) on behalf of this entire remnant (for few of us remain out of the many,(C) as you can see with your own eyes), 3 that the Lord your God may tell us the way we should walk and the thing we should do.”
4 So Jeremiah the prophet said to them, “I have heard. I will now pray to the Lord your God according to your words, and every word that the Lord answers you I will tell you; I won’t withhold a word from you.”(D)

2 Jeremiah the prophet and said to him, “Please hear our petition and pray(A) to the Lord your God for this entire remnant.(B) For as you now see, though we were once many, now only a few(C) are left. 3 Pray that the Lord your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do.”(D)
4 “I have heard you,” replied Jeremiah the prophet. “I will certainly pray(E) to the Lord your God as you have requested; I will tell(F) you everything the Lord says and will keep nothing back from you.”(G)
