Jeremiah 42:2-4

2 and said to Jeremiah the prophet, “Please let our (A)petition [a]come before you, and (B)pray for us to the Lord your God, that is for all this remnant; because we are left but a (C)few out of many, as your own eyes now see us, 3 that the Lord your God may tell us the (D)way in which we should walk and the thing that we should do.” 4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to them, “I have heard you. Behold, I am going to (E)pray to the Lord your God in accordance with your words; and I will tell you the whole [b]message which the (F)Lord will answer you. I will (G)not keep back a word from you.”

Jeremiah 42:2-4
New International Version
2 Jeremiah the prophet and said to him, “Please hear our petition and pray(A) to the Lord your God for this entire remnant.(B) For as you now see, though we were once many, now only a few(C) are left. 3 Pray that the Lord your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do.”(D)
4 “I have heard you,” replied Jeremiah the prophet. “I will certainly pray(E) to the Lord your God as you have requested; I will tell(F) you everything the Lord says and will keep nothing back from you.”(G)
