8 And the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying, 9 “Take in your hands[a] large stones and bury them in the mortar in the clay floor that is at the entrance of the palace[b] of Pharaoh in Tahpanhes before the eyes of the people[c] of the Judeans, 10 and say to them, ‘Thus says Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel: “Look, I am going to send and take Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will set his throne above these stones that I have hidden. And he will spread out his canopy over them.

8 In Tahpanhes(A) the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 9 “While the Jews are watching, take some large stones(B) with you and bury them in clay in the brick(C) pavement at the entrance to Pharaoh’s palace(D) in Tahpanhes. 10 Then say to them, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will send for my servant(E) Nebuchadnezzar(F) king of Babylon, and I will set his throne(G) over these stones I have buried here; he will spread his royal canopy(H) above them.
