8 Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah in (A)Tahpanhes, saying, 9 “Take some large stones in your [a]hands and hide them in the mortar in the [b]brick terrace which is at the entrance of Pharaoh’s [c]palace in Tahpanhes, in the sight of [d]some of the Jews; 10 and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “Behold, I am going to send and get (B)Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, (C)My servant, and I am going to set his throne right over these stones that I have hidden; and he will spread his (D)canopy over them.

8 In Tahpanhes(A) the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah: 9 “While the Jews are watching, take some large stones(B) with you and bury them in clay in the brick(C) pavement at the entrance to Pharaoh’s palace(D) in Tahpanhes. 10 Then say to them, ‘This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will send for my servant(E) Nebuchadnezzar(F) king of Babylon, and I will set his throne(G) over these stones I have buried here; he will spread his royal canopy(H) above them.
