23 Because you offered sacrifice and sinned against the Lord, not listening to the voice of the Lord, not following his law, his statutes, and his decrees, therefore this evil has overtaken you, as it is today.(A)
24 Jeremiah said to all the people and to all the women: Hear the word of the Lord, all you Judahites in the land of Egypt: 25 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: You and your wives have carried out with your hands what your mouths have spoken: “We will go on fulfilling the vows we have made to offer sacrifice to the Queen of Heaven and to pour out libations to her.” Very well! keep your vows, fulfill your vows!

23 Because you have burned incense and have sinned against the Lord and have not obeyed him or followed(A) his law or his decrees(B) or his stipulations, this disaster(C) has come upon you, as you now see.”(D)
24 Then Jeremiah said to all the people, including the women,(E) “Hear the word of the Lord, all you people of Judah in Egypt.(F) 25 This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You and your wives(G) have done what you said you would do when you promised, ‘We will certainly carry out the vows we made to burn incense and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of Heaven.’(H)
“Go ahead then, do what you promised! Keep your vows!(I)
