Jeremiah 46:24-26
New American Standard Bible
24 The daughter of Egypt has been put to shame,
Turned over to the [a]power of the (A)people of the north.”
25 The Lord of armies, the God of Israel says: “Behold, I am going to punish Amon of (B)Thebes, and (C)Pharaoh, and Egypt along with her (D)gods and her kings, indeed, Pharaoh and those who (E)trust in him. 26 I shall hand them over to those who are (F)seeking their lives, that is, to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and to his [b]officers. (G)Afterward, however, it will be inhabited as in the days of old,” declares the Lord.

24 Daughter Egypt will be put to shame,
given into the hands of the people of the north.(A)”
25 The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “I am about to bring punishment on Amon god of Thebes,(B) on Pharaoh,(C) on Egypt and her gods(D) and her kings, and on those who rely(E) on Pharaoh. 26 I will give them into the hands(F) of those who want to kill them—Nebuchadnezzar king(G) of Babylon and his officers. Later, however, Egypt will be inhabited(H) as in times past,” declares the Lord.
