Jeremiah 48:26-28

26 “Make him drunk, because he has exalted himself against the Lord.(A) Moab will wallow in his own vomit, and he will also become a laughingstock. 27 Wasn’t Israel a laughingstock to you?(B) Was he ever found among thieves?(C) For whenever you speak of him you shake your head.”(D)
28 Abandon the towns! Live in the cliffs,
residents of Moab!
Be like a dove
that nests inside the mouth of a cave.(E)

26 “Make her drunk,(A)
for she has defied(B) the Lord.
Let Moab wallow in her vomit;(C)
let her be an object of ridicule.(D)
27 Was not Israel the object of your ridicule?(E)
Was she caught among thieves,(F)
that you shake your head(G) in scorn(H)
whenever you speak of her?
28 Abandon your towns and dwell among the rocks,
you who live in Moab.
Be like a dove(I) that makes its nest
at the mouth of a cave.(J)
