Jeremiah 48:26-28

26 Make ye him [a]drunken: for he magnified himself against the Lord: Moab shall [b]wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
27 For didst not thou deride Israel, as though he had been found among thieves? for when thou speakest of him, thou art [c]moved.
28 O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rocks, and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of the hole’s mouth.

26 “Make her drunk,(A)
for she has defied(B) the Lord.
Let Moab wallow in her vomit;(C)
let her be an object of ridicule.(D)
27 Was not Israel the object of your ridicule?(E)
Was she caught among thieves,(F)
that you shake your head(G) in scorn(H)
whenever you speak of her?
28 Abandon your towns and dwell among the rocks,
you who live in Moab.
Be like a dove(I) that makes its nest
at the mouth of a cave.(J)
