Jeremiah 48:27-29

²⁷Now was Israel not a ^(A)laughingstock to you? Or was he ^[a]^(B)caught among thieves? For whenever you speak about him you ^(C)shake your head in scorn.

²⁸Leave the cities and live among the ^(D)rocky cliffs,
You inhabitants of Moab,
And be like a ^(E)dove that nests
Beyond the mouth of the chasm.
²⁹^(F)We have heard of the pride of Moab—he is very proud—
Of his haughtiness, his ^(G)pride, his arrogance, and ^[b]his self-exaltation.

²⁸Abandon your towns and dwell among the rocks,
    you who live in Moab.
