27 Now was Israel not a (A)laughingstock to you? Or was he [a](B)caught among thieves? For whenever you speak about him you (C)shake your head in scorn.

28 Leave the cities and live among the (D)rocky cliffs,
You inhabitants of Moab,
And be like a (E)dove that nests
Beyond the mouth of the chasm.
29 (F)We have heard of the pride of Moab—he is very proud—
Of his haughtiness, his (G)pride, his arrogance, and [b]his self-exaltation.
