⁴¹ The towns have^[a] been captured,
and the strongholds seized.
In that day the heart of Moab’s warriors
will be like the heart of a woman with contractions.^(A)

² Therefore, I will send fire against Moab,
and it will consume the citadels of Kerioth.^(A)
Moab will die with a tumult,^(B)
with shouting and the sound of the ram’s horn.
