They go up the hill to Luhith,(A)
    weeping bitterly as they go;
on the road down to Horonaim(B)
    anguished cries over the destruction are heard.
Flee!(C) Run for your lives;
    become like a bush[a] in the desert.(D)
Since you trust in your deeds and riches,(E)
    you too will be taken captive,
and Chemosh(F) will go into exile,(G)
    together with his priests and officials.(H)
