Jeremiah 48:8-10
New American Standard Bible

8 A destroyer will come to every city,
So that no city will escape;
The valley also will be ruined
And the (A)plateau will be destroyed,
As the Lord has said.
9 Give [a](B)wings to Moab,
For she will [b]flee away;
And her cities will become a (C)desolation,
Without inhabitants in them.
10 (D)Cursed is the one who does the Lord’s work (E)negligently,
And cursed is the one who restrains his (F)sword from blood.

New International Version

8 The destroyer(A) will come against every town,
    and not a town will escape.
The valley will be ruined
    and the plateau(B) destroyed,
    because the Lord has spoken.
9 Put salt(C) on Moab,
    for she will be laid waste[a];(D)
her towns will become desolate,
    with no one to live in them.

10 “A curse on anyone who is lax in doing the Lord’s work!
    A curse on anyone who keeps their sword(E) from bloodshed!(F)
