Jeremiah 49:11-13

12 For thus says the Lord, “Behold, those [b]who were not sentenced to drink the (C)cup will certainly drink it, and are you the one who will be (D)completely acquitted? You will not be acquitted, but you will certainly drink it. 13 For I have (E)sworn by Myself,” declares the Lord, “that (F)Bozrah will become an (G)object of horror, a reproach, a ruin and a curse; and all its cities will become perpetual ruins.”

11 ‘Leave your fatherless children;(A) I will keep them alive.
Your widows(B) too can depend on me.’”
12 This is what the Lord says: “If those who do not deserve to drink the cup(C) must drink it, why should you go unpunished?(D) You will not go unpunished, but must drink it. 13 I swear(E) by myself,” declares the Lord, “that Bozrah(F) will become a ruin and a curse,[a] an object of horror(G) and reproach;(H) and all its towns will be in ruins forever.”(I)
