Jeremiah 49:4-6
New American Standard Bible 1995
4 “How (A)boastful you are about the valleys!
Your valley is flowing away,
O (B)backsliding daughter
Who trusts in her (C)treasures, saying,
‘(D)Who will come against me?’
5 “Behold, I am going to bring (E)terror upon you,”
Declares the Lord [a]God of hosts,
“From all directions around you;
And each of you will be (F)driven out [b]headlong,
With no one to gather the (G)fugitives together.
6 “But afterward I will (H)restore
The [c]fortunes of the sons of Ammon,”
Declares the Lord.
