8 They were like well-fed horses full of sinful desire, each one wanting his neighbor’s wife. 9 Should I not punish these people?” says the Lord. “Should I not make a nation such as this pay for its sins?
10 “Go up through her grape-fields and destroy, but do not destroy all of them. Cut away her branches, for they are not the Lord’s.

9 Should I not punish them for this?”(B)
declares the Lord.
“Should I not avenge(C) myself
on such a nation as this?
10 “Go through her vineyards and ravage them,
but do not destroy them completely.(D)
Strip off her branches,
for these people do not belong to the Lord.
