Jeremiah 50:43-45
New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
43 The king of Babylon heard news of them,
and his hands fell helpless;
anguish seized him,
pain like that of a woman in labor.
44 Like a lion coming up from the thickets of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly chase them away from her; and I will appoint over her whomever I choose.[a] For who is like me? Who can summon me? Who is the shepherd who can stand before me? 45 Therefore hear the plan that the Lord has made against Babylon, and the purposes that he has formed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the little ones of the flock shall be dragged away; surely their[b] fold shall be appalled at their fate.

Jeremiah 50:43-45
New International Version
43 The king of Babylon has heard reports about them,
and his hands hang limp.(A)
Anguish has gripped him,
pain like that of a woman in labor.(B)
44 Like a lion coming up from Jordan’s thickets(C)
to a rich pastureland,
I will chase Babylon from its land in an instant.
Who is the chosen(D) one I will appoint for this?
Who is like me and who can challenge me?(E)
And what shepherd can stand against me?”
Jeremiah 50:43-45
New King James Version
43 “The king of Babylon has (A)heard the report about them,
And his hands grow feeble;
Anguish has taken hold of him,
Pangs as of a woman in (B)childbirth.
44 “Behold,(C) he shall come up like a lion from the [a]floodplain of the Jordan
Against the dwelling place of the strong;
But I will make them suddenly run away from her.
And who is a chosen man that I may appoint over her?
For who is like Me?
Who will arraign Me?
And (D)who is that shepherd
Who will withstand Me?”
45 Therefore hear (E)the counsel of the Lord that He has taken against Babylon,
And His (F)purposes that He has proposed against the land of the Chaldeans:
(G)Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out;
Surely He will make their dwelling place desolate with them.
