Let not [a]him who [b](A)bends his bow [c]bend it,
Nor let him rise up in his (B)coat of armor.
Do not spare her young men;
Devote all her army to destruction.
They will fall down [d]dead in the land of the Chaldeans,
And (C)pierced through in their streets.”

For (D)neither Israel nor Judah has been [e]forsaken
By his God, the Lord of armies,
Although their land is (E)full of guilt
[f]Before the Holy One of Israel.
