They will fall down [a]dead in the land of the Chaldeans,
And (A)pierced through in their streets.”

For (B)neither Israel nor Judah has been [b]forsaken
By his God, the Lord of armies,
Although their land is (C)full of guilt
[c]Before the Holy One of Israel.
(D)Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And each of you save his life!
Do not (E)perish in her [d]punishment,
For this is the (F)Lords time of vengeance;
He is going to (G)repay to her what she deserves.
