I have made plans
to destroy Babylon,

13 (A) People of Babylon, you live

You are rich,
but now the time has come
    for you to die.[a]
14 I, the Lord All-Powerful,
    swear by my own life
that enemy soldiers
will fill your streets
    like a swarm of locusts.[b]
They will shout
    and celebrate their victory.
