13 He burned down the house of Adonai, the royal palace and all the houses in Yerushalayim — every notable person’s house he burned to the ground. 14 The whole army of the Kasdim, who were with the commander of the guard, broke down all the walls of Yerushalayim on every side. 15 N’vuzar’adan the commander of the guard then deported some of the poor people, the remaining population of the city, the deserters who had defected to the king of Bavel and the rest of the common people.

Every important building he burned down. 14 The whole Babylonian army, under the commander of the imperial guard, broke down all the walls(D) around Jerusalem. 15 Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile(E) some of the poorest people and those who remained in the city, along with the rest of the craftsmen[a] and those who had deserted(F) to the king of Babylon.
