13 Then he burned the House of Adonai, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem. He burned every large house with fire. 14 Then all the Chaldean army, which was with the captain of the guard, broke down all the walls of Jerusalem all around.

15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried into exile some of the poorest of the people, the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had defected to the king of Babylon, and what remained of the craftsmen.
