15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard (A)took away into exile some of the poorest of the people, the rest of the people who remained in the city, the [a](B)defectors who had defected to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the artisans. 16 But (C)Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had some of the poorest of the land remain to be vinedressers and [b]plowmen.
17 Now the bronze (D)pillars which belonged to the house of Yahweh and the (E)stands and the bronze (F)sea, which were in the house of Yahweh, the Chaldeans shattered and carried all their bronze to Babylon.

15 Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile(A) some of the poorest people and those who remained in the city, along with the rest of the craftsmen[a] and those who had deserted(B) to the king of Babylon. 16 But Nebuzaradan left behind(C) the rest of the poorest people of the land to work the vineyards and fields.
17 The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars,(D) the movable stands(E) and the bronze Sea(F) that were at the temple of the Lord and they carried all the bronze to Babylon.(G)
