⁵ Arise, and let’s ^[a]attack by night
And ^(A)destroy her ^[b]palaces!’”
⁶ For this is what the Lord of armies says:
“^(B)Cut down her trees
And pile up an ^(C)assault ramp against Jerusalem.
This is the city to be punished,
In whose midst there is only ^(D)oppression.
^7 (E)As a well ^[c]keeps its waters fresh,
So she ^[d]keeps fresh her wickedness.
^(F)Violence and destruction are heard in her;
^(G)Sickness and wounds are constantly before Me.
