¹³ And now, because you have done all these things,” declares the Lord, “and I spoke to you, ^(A)rising up early and ^(B)speaking, but you did not hear, and I ^(C)called you but you did not answer,

²⁵ Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have ^(A)sent you all My servants the prophets, daily rising early and sending them.

⁴ And the Lord has sent to you all His ^(A)servants the prophets ^[a]again and again, but you have not listened nor inclined your ear to hear,

⁵ to listen to the words of ^(A)My servants the prophets, whom I have been sending to you ^[a]again and again, but you have not listened;

¹⁹ because they have ^(A)not listened to My words,’ declares the Lord, ‘which I sent to them again and again by ^(B)My servants the prophets; but you did not listen,’ declares the Lord.

¹⁵ Also I have sent to you all My ^(A)servants the prophets, sending them ^[a]again and again, saying: ‘^(B)Turn now every man from his evil way and amend your deeds, and ^(C)do not go after other gods to worship them. Then you will ^(D)dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your forefathers; but you have not ^(E)inclined your ear or listened to Me.

⁷ Are not these the words which the Lord ^(A)proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and ^[a](B)prosperous along with its cities around it, and the ^[b](C)Negev and the ^[c]foothills were inhabited?’”
