⁹ Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery and swear falsely, and ^[a](A)offer sacrifices to Baal and walk after ^(B)other gods that you have not known,

¹³ For your gods are ^[a](A)as many as your cities, O Judah; and ^[b]as many as the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to the ^(B)shameful thing, altars to ^(C)burn incense to Baal.

²⁹ The Chaldeans who are fighting against this city will enter and ^(A)set this city on fire and burn it, with the ^(B)houses where people have offered incense to Baal on their roofs and poured out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.
