23 Thus says Yahweh, “(A)Let not a wise man boast in his wisdom, and let not the (B)mighty man boast in his might; let not a (C)rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts (D)boast in this, that he [a]understands and knows Me, that I am Yahweh who (E)shows lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness on earth; for I (F)delight in these things,” declares Yahweh.
25 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares Yahweh, “that I will punish all who are circumcised and yet (G)uncircumcised—

23 This is what the Lord says:
“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom(A)
or the strong boast of their strength(B)
or the rich boast of their riches,(C)
24 but let the one who boasts boast(D) about this:
that they have the understanding to know(E) me,
that I am the Lord,(F) who exercises kindness,(G)
justice and righteousness(H) on earth,
for in these I delight,”
