¹⁸ I will repay^(A) them double^(B) for their wickedness and their sin, because they have defiled my land^(C) with the lifeless forms of their vile images^(D) and have filled my inheritance with their detestable idols.^(E)”^(F)

³⁴ They set up their vile images^(A) in the house that bears my Name^(B) and defiled^(C) it. ³⁵ They built high places for Baal in the Valley of Ben Hinnom^(D) to sacrifice their sons and daughters to Molek,^(E) though I never commanded—nor did it enter my mind^(F)—that they should do such a detestable^(G) thing and so make Judah sin.^(H)

¹⁰ So I went in and looked, and I saw portrayed all over the walls^(A) all kinds of crawling things and unclean^(B) animals and all the idols of Israel.^(C)
