¹⁰ For ^(A)the land is full of adulterers;
For ^(B)because of a curse the land mourns.
^(C)The pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up.
Their course of life is evil,
And their might is not right.

³ Therefore ^(A)the land will mourn;
And ^(B)everyone who dwells there will waste away
With the beasts of the field
And the birds of the air;
Even the fish of the sea will be taken away.
