19 and suddenly, a great wind came from across the desert, and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people and they died, and I alone have escaped to tell you.”

20 Then Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head [in mourning for the children], and he fell to the ground and worshiped [God]. 21 He said,

“Naked (without possessions) I came [into this world] from my mother’s womb,
And naked I will return there.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.”

19 when suddenly a mighty wind(A) swept in from the desert and struck the four corners of the house. It collapsed on them and they are dead,(B) and I am the only one who has escaped to tell you!(C)

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe(D) and shaved his head.(E) Then he fell to the ground in worship(F) 21 and said:
