²⁰ But the eyes of the wicked will fail,^(A)
    and escape will elude them;^(B)
    their hope will become a dying gasp.”^(C)

²² “As you summon to a feast day,
    so you summoned against me terrors^(A) on every side.
In the day of the Lord’s anger

    my enemy has destroyed.”
