and let that be your wisdom!

⁵If only you would be altogether silent!^(A)
For you, that would be wisdom.^(B)

⁵O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.

¹⁹When there are many words, sin is unavoidable,
but the one who controls his lips is wise.^(A)

¹⁹Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues.^(A)

¹⁹In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.
