32 His branch shall not be green, but shall be cut off before his day.

33 God shall destroy him as the vine her sour [a]grape, and shall cast him off, as the olive doth her flower.

34 For the congregation of the hypocrite shall be desolate, and fire shall devour the houses of [b]bribes.

32 Before his time(A) he will wither,(B)
    and his branches will not flourish.(C)
33 He will be like a vine stripped of its unripe grapes,(D)
    like an olive tree shedding its blossoms.(E)
34 For the company of the godless(F) will be barren,
    and fire will consume(G) the tents of those who love bribes.(H)
