³⁴ For the company of the godless^(A) will have no children,
and fire will consume the tents of those who offer bribes.

⁹ You will make them burn
like a fiery furnace when you appear;
the Lord will engulf them in his wrath,
and fire will devour them.^(A)

³ Our God is coming; he will not be silent!
Devouring fire precedes him,
and a storm rages around him.^(A)
