⁹ Nevertheless, the righteous^(A) will hold to their ways,
    and those with clean hands^(B) will grow stronger.^(C)

²⁰ The Lord has dealt with me according to my righteousness;^(A)
    according to the cleanness of my hands^(B) he has rewarded me.^(C)

²⁴ The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,^(A)
    according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

⁴ The one who has clean hands^(A) and a pure heart,^(B)
    who does not trust in an idol^(C)
    or swear by a false god.^[a]

⁶ I wash my hands in innocence,^(A)
    and go about your altar, Lord,

³⁰ Even if I washed myself with soap^(A)
    and my hands^(B) with cleansing powder,^(C)
