Job 2:11-13

11 Now when Job’s three friends heard of all this adversity that had come upon him, they came each one from his own place, Eliphaz the (A)Temanite, Bildad the (B)Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite; and they made an appointment together to come to (C)sympathize with him and comfort him. 12 When they lifted up their eyes at a distance and did not recognize him, they raised their voices and wept. And each of them (D)tore his robe and they (E)threw dust over their heads toward the sky. 13 (F)Then they sat down on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights with no one speaking a word to him, for they saw that his pain was very great.

11 When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite,(A) Bildad the Shuhite(B) and Zophar the Naamathite,(C) heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.(D) 12 When they saw him from a distance, they could hardly recognize him;(E) they began to weep aloud,(F) and they tore their robes(G) and sprinkled dust on their heads.(H) 13 Then they sat on the ground(I) with him for seven days and seven nights.(J) No one said a word to him,(K) because they saw how great his suffering was.
