2 Then the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From compassing the earth to and fro, and from walking in it.
3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou not considered my servant Job, how none is like him in the earth? (A)an upright and just man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? for yet he continueth in his uprightness, [a]although thou movedst me against him, to destroy [b]him without cause.
4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, [c]Skin for skin, and all that ever a man hath, will he give for his life.

Job 2:2-4
New International Version
2 And the Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”(A)
3 Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.(B) And he still maintains his integrity,(C) though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.”(D)
4 “Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give all he has(E) for his own life.
