⁹Their houses ^(A)are safe from fear,
And the ^[a]rod of God is not on them.

⁹Their homes are safe and free from fear;^(A)
the rod of God is not on them.^(B)

¹²Behold, ^(A)these are the wicked;
And always ^(B)at ease, they have increased in wealth.

¹²This is what the wicked are like—
always free of care,^(A) they go on amassing wealth.^(B)
