³⁰He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.

³⁰He will deliver even one who is not innocent,^(A)
who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”^(B)

⁴He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

⁴The one who has clean hands^(A) and a pure heart,^(B)
who does not trust in an idol^(C)
or swear by a false god.^[a]
