13 These are they that abhor the [a]light: they know not the ways thereof, nor continue in the paths thereof.
14 The murderer riseth early, and killeth the poor and the needy: and in the night he is as a thief.
15 The eye also of the [b]adulterer waiteth for the twilight, and saith, None eye shall see me, and disguiseth his face.

who do not know its ways
or stay in its paths.(B)
14 When daylight is gone, the murderer rises up,

and in the night steals forth like a thief.(E)
15 The eye of the adulterer(F) watches for dusk;(G)
he thinks, ‘No eye will see me,’(H)
and he keeps his face concealed.
