¹⁰for it did not shut the doors of the womb on me
to hide trouble from my eyes.

¹⁰Because it did not shut up the doors of my mother’s womb,
Nor hide sorrow from my eyes.

²And I declared that the dead,^(A)
who had already died,
are happier than the living,
who are still alive.^(B)
